The Islay Way is a companionship and befriending service for older adults across South Lanarkshire. Our founder grew up on the Isle of Islay, where neighbours look out for one another, and we bring that same approach to everyone we visit: good conversation, help when it’s needed, and someone reliable who turns up when they say they will.
We don’t provide personal care, medication help or clinical services. Our visits are about company, confidence and making everyday life feel easier.

Call, WhatsApp or send the enquiry form, for yourself or for a relative.
Our manager visits you at home or calls, whichever suits you best. There's no obligation.
We talk about interests, activities and practical arrangements, then send a written quote before anything is booked.
Choose individual visits, prepaid hours or a tailored bundle.
Many families live further away or work full time and want to know someone friendly is spending time with Mum or Dad. We keep it simple: a free first chat, a written quote before anything is booked, and arrangements agreed with your relative so they stay in control.
